Cu/CuSo4 Reference Electrode

ICCP Reference Electrodes

The copper-copper sulfate reference electrode is primarily used to measure structural potentials in subsurface structures and freshwater environments; Soil, Fine Sand, Fresh Water.

Description:

The copper-copper sulfate reference electrode is primarily used to measure structural potentials in subsurface structures and freshwater environments. Since chloride ions can damage the body, it is not suitable for chlorine electrolytes.

The copper-copper sulfate reference electrode consists of a copper rod immersed in a saturated solution of copper sulfate, supported by a non-conductive gas cylinder with a porous plug at the bottom. The copper ions in the saturated solution prevent copper corrosion and also make the reference electrode more stable.

Portable copper/copper sulfate reference electrode for temporary measurement of structure-environment potential; stationary copper/copper sulfate reference electrode for long-term structure-environment potential detection.

Application Field:

Soil, Fine Sand, Fresh Water.

Features:

  1. The electrode with stable potential is not easy to polarize;
  2. The specially formulated backfill not only has excellent electrical conductivity, but also overcomes the disadvantage that the traditional backfill is easy to agglomerate and lead to anode failure in the alternating dry and wet environment;
  3. Packed with easily absorbent and degradable environmentally friendly materials, it can be installed directly on site without any need to deal with any plastic waste.
