Heater Treater Anode

Sacrificial Anodes

Used for water tanks and boiler structures, extruded anode rods have high surface and length ratios in relation to cross-sectional area, which allows a greater amount of current per weight than usual cast anode.

Description:

Advance Technology extruded anode rods have high surface and length ratios in relation to cross-sectional area.

This allows to deliver a greater amount of current per weight than usual cast anodes.

The anode rod is typically made of magnesium or aluminum. Even though magnesium rod normally corrodes at a slightly faster rate than its aluminum counterpart, dissolved magnesium in water is eco-friendly.

The anode rod should be replaced when the corrosion has eaten approximately 75% of the rod’s mass. Generally, our anode rod is expected to provide about 2 years of corrosion protection.

Application Field:

Used for water tanks and boiler structures.

Features:

  1. Pass more current
  2. Better tank protection in higher resistance electrolytes
  3. Excellent and stable performance
