HSCI Tubular Anode Static Casting Type
High Silicon Cast Iron Anode
Tubular type anode is more reliable and economic than traditional stick anode and became the first choice of deep well anodes by oil and gas customers.
Besides centrifugal casting we have successfully developed static casing type anodes, this type of anode is casted in metal mold by gravity with rapid cooling process.
Description:
High Silicon Cast Iron (HSCI) Anode is an auxiliary anode for impressed current cathodic protection system, which is mainly used in underground steel pipelines, oil production combined stations, underground cables, underground storage tanks and other facilities.
Tubular type anode is more reliable and economic than traditional stick anode and became the first choice of deep well anodes by oil and gas customers. Besides centrifugal casting we have successfully developed static casing type anodes, this type of anode is casted in metal mold by gravity with rapid cooling process.
Application Field:
It is suitable for metal structures such as buried pipelines and crude oil storage tanks in soil or fresh water environment, grounding system of power plants, mechanical equipment, marine engineering, seaport facilities and submarine pipeline cathodic protection.
It is not suitable for the environment containing high sulphate, because the protective film on the surface is not easy to form or easily damaged, which will accelerate the consumption of the anode.
Features:
- More reliable centre connection, low resistance, eliminate end effects;
- Enhanced anode centre wall thickness with 10% than other area;
- The anode utilization rate is as high as 85-90%;
- Greater surface area per kilogram which reduces anode current density;
- Anode length up to 2134 mm with lower electrical resistance than rod anode;
- The anode structure and shape can be customized according to customer requirements.
