Heat-Shrinkable End Cap for sealing and protection of pre-insulated pipe ends.
Description:
The ATEC end cap is a high-performance heat shrinkable product designed to seal and protect the foam on the ends of pre-insulated pipes. The pre-formed end cap is designed to conform to the step-down from the casing pipe to the carrier pipes, providing an effective seal against moisture ingress into the foam. The ATEC end cap is made from a stable crosslinked polyethylene backing, lined with a high temperature mastic sealant adhesive for a fast and reliable field installation.

Pre-insulated pipelines in District Heating and Cooling applications.
