Fiber Reinforced Adhesive for Joint Casing of Pre-Insulated Pipes

UltraSealant™ is a high-strength adhesive designed specifically for sealing the joint casing of pre-insulated pipes. UltraSealant™ is used in combination with ProSeal™ non-welded or welded shrinkable joint casing systems to prevent moisture ingress. The high strength of UltraSealant™ provides superior resistance to soil stresses incurred on buried pre-insulated pipelines.

Long-Term Sealing Performance

• A specialized semi-crystalline adhesive forms a strong bond to the factory jacket and casing, providing an effective seal against water.
• The fiber-reinforced system provides high shear strength against soil stress.

Field-Friendly, Consistent Installation

• The hybrid copolymer adhesive readily bonds to the casing and jacket at lower installation preheat temperatures, supporting consistent installation.
• The onset temperatures of both adhesive types are lower than the casing shrinkage temperature of 150°C, supporting successful bonding to the pipe jacket and casing.
