Heat Shrink Sleeve for Pre-Insulated Pipe Joints.

ProSeal™ is a polyethylene heat shrink sleeve designed specifically for the sealing of pre-insulated pipe joints. ProSeal™  encapsulates the joint ends and prevents the ingress of moisture. The high mechanical strength of the ProSeal™ product offers superior resistance to soil stresses incurred on the buried pre-insulated  pipelines.

Long Term Sealing Performance

• This product uses an HDPE polyethylene layer to provide robust
  mechanical protection and a strong moisture barrier.
• A specialized semi-crystalline adhesive forms a strong bond to the factory jacket and the casing, thus imparting an effective seal against water.
• Total installed system provides robust soil stress resistance in
  accordance with EN489.
• The ProSeal™ system has passed the FFI Soil-Box test.

Field Friendly Consistent Installation

• The hybrid copolymer adhesive readily bonds to the casing and the jacket at lower installation pre-heat temperatures, thus providing consistent installations.
• The backing is optimally crosslinked to provide consistent and fast shrinking and repeatable installation.

Economic Sleeve Selection for Field Use

• Sleeves available in bulk rolls and pre-cut to specific pipe sizes
• Pre-cut sleeves allow fast and easy installation.
• Bulk rolls available to reduce inventory for different pipe sizes to be more cost effective.
